Children’s Forest Rap

Dan Peters, of Blue Jay Lake Farm here on Cortes Island, offered a Youth Rap Workshop in November of 2014, sponsored by FTCCIS.

Six Cortes youth: Ilo, Govind, Lily, Makawi, Theo and Sequoia, individually wrote their lyrics and together with Dan, composed the Forest Alphabet Rap!

The Children’s Forest Troupe then performed the Forest Alphabet Rap as part of their Saltspring Island Forest Alphabet Tour, in March 2015.
