The Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island Society 2025 AGM will be held April 9, 2026 on ZOOM

Our Society decided to do things differently this year and hold 2 AGM-related sessions – a guest speaker scheduled for March 29 and the business portion of our AGM on April 9.

However, due to ferry scheduling difficulties, we postponed our guest speaker, Meaghan Cursons from the Cumberland Community Forest, and the ensuing community discussion on forest protection to April 30.

And now for the exciting business portion of our 2025 AGM. This will be a zoom meeting (coordinates below), and is being sent out on April 8 to our mailing list and re-posted on the Tideline. We will offer a brief summary of the events of 2025, which will be expanded when we hold the community conversation on forest protection on April 30.

The AGM Agenda and minutes of our 2024 AGM (April 5, 2025) are attached for a preview and time efficiency during the AGM. You will also find our Balance Sheet (Oct 31, 2025) and Profit & Loss Statement (Oct 31, 2025).
