Forest Protection – A Community Conversation

You are invited to a community conversation on forest protection with special guest, Meaghan Cursons, from the Cumberland Community Forest, hosted by the Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island Society.

There will be a short update on the Society’s 2025 acquisition campaign of the Children’s Forest. Meaghan’s presentation on the success of the Cumberland Community Forest will be followed by a lively conversation on what forest protection means and looks like for the Cortes Island community.

Sunday, March 29, Linnaea Education Centre. We will start sharply at 3:00 pm, with doors open at 2:45. We will happily accept donations at the door.

The business portion of our 2025 AGM will be held on Thursday, April 9, at 7:00 pm with details to be posted later.
