2024 AGM with Merlin Sheldrake

Merlin Sheldrake, biologist, is a long-time, summer resident of Cortes and author of ‘Entangled Life – How Fungi Make our Worlds, Change our Minds & Shape our Futures (2020) and presenter/narrator of the acclaimed IMAX film, ‘Fungi – Web of Life’ (2023).  Merlin and Andy MacKinnon (2021 AGM) shared a fascinating panel discussion on the fungi kingdom – effects of climate change on fungi fruiting, species documentation, and the importance of protection for forests to conserve habitat for fungi.
